Hey folks. Sorry for multiple updates, but with the success of the smoke test, I've hit the button to send all backerkit surveys. 

Once a few days have passed and most people have filled out their surveys, I'll start sending out PDFs for those who purchased The Ruins of Castle Gygar. Sorry that it's taken so long--lots of other stuff has come up in the mean time preventing me from getting around to this.

Smoke Test Out

Hey folks! Quick one here. Smoke Test for the Backerkit is now live. About 10% of you will get an email to fill out your survey, then we're gonna look to make sure everything is cool and working with that, then send the rest to you.

The manuscript is off for dev edit approvals and copy editing now, so we're way ahead of our schedule. Then it's off to layout and final arts.

Steady work!

Hey folks!

(Did you know that when you push the button to request an update, a big red banner appears at the top of the entirety of Kickstarter until I write that update? Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!)

I sent the first complete draft to Roz and Maeve (who is assisting on this one) around the 15th, and last Monday we had a big meeting for all the things I need to go back and fix or improve upon. I've been cranking on doing these edits and fixing logic problems, improving room descriptions, and basically giving the whole thing a plus-up. (When I'm not distracted playing Over/Under.) This is expected; the process at work!

Meanwhile Chao has been shotgunning out art like a madman. Check out THE HUNGER:

Hey folks! We did it! We reached our stretch goal of $3200 right under the wire, meaning we can definitely afford all the artwork I'd like to have and print the zine in colour!

Truth be told, my original budget numbers accounted for colour printing for 400 copies, since that's what I did for Castle Gygar; but this campaign did not do the same numbers, so I probably was going to be able to afford colour anyway. But: the art!!

I'm on a two week mandatory vacation while funds from Kickstarter clear; in that time, I'm already back hard at work on Heartbeat Highschool and other projects.

Hey folks!! Thanks so much for all your support up until now. I've been trying to keep it quiet but we're in the home stretch now, so it's time for the final update.
